so this week we had a film workshop and in a similar vein to the “its may29th2009″ (which is now very close) posts from before christmas, we had to make our project as film.
one of the ways quique showed us how to make films was shooting frame by frame with a digital slr.. main reasons being that the quality is much better (lenses, etc.) than most camcorders and you can reall get good depth of field. so i set about making my 2 minute film about crying etc.
and it took me… hours. but the result were worth it and had some really encouraging feedback and feel like i’ve had a real boost. will definitely do one of these for my show once i’ve made my objects which i’m currently developing, drawing out and prototyping. excitement!
